Hook-and-loop tourniquet that applies increasing pressure with each wrap. Acting as an effective compression dressing, FullStop® increases circumferential pressure with every turn. The Blast® Bandage also includes a removable occlusive layer covering a 48 × 48 cm area, or it can be used to cover exposed abdominal contents while reducing heat and moisture loss. Velcro® control strips prevent the elastic roll from unwinding accidentally and keep the dressing secure during application. Multiple attachment points reduce slippage of the elastic wrap while it is being wound. This helps produce a more secure and effective dressing and reduces the chance of wound exposure during movement.
